The preschool group at German Mills Child Care Centre in Thornhill went on an adventure “in the beyond!” We had lots of fun exploring a nearby trail, which included a bridge and a forest!

The first thing we found was a big hill! A few of the children tried rolling down the hill, while others gave running a try.

We worked together to build a “campfire” out of chunks of ice. We saw some ducks in the stream; and brainstormed what we thought the ducks ate, bread was the most popular answer!

While exploring in the forest we found a perfect tree to climb! Wow! It was tricky to climb, but we made it! While we were walking in the forest we had to be careful to watch our step!

Last but not least we burned off energy racing across the field to give our educator Bahareh a high five!

We can’t wait to go back again soon!
