Child care is available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

At Holland Landing Public School, we provide early learning and child care programs for toddlers (18 months to 2½ years) and for preschool children (2½ to 5yrs) in the Holland Landing area. We follow the 1:5 teacher-to-toddler ratio and the 1:8 teacher-to-preschool ratio. In addition, our Holland Landing Public School day child care and  Kid‘s Club program provides care for kindergarten children and children in grades 1-6 following the teacher-to-student ratio set out by the Ministry of Education.

Our Holland Landing toddler and preschool programs are developed by qualified educators who strive to inspire wonder and curiosity: exploration and experimentation; and excitement of learning in all the children.  With a balanced blend of teacher guidance and child independence; we encourage exploration of opportunities found both indoors and outdoors. Our educators use play-based methodologies to ensure that your child learns in a manner that is developmentally appropriate to them; building on curiosity, social skills, self-regulation, and play.

Our child care programs encourage parent input, contribution and participation.

Our New Natural Playground

We have upgraded our playgrounds to create innovative, engaging and beautiful natural environments that utilize natural elements and materials to delight and challenge children emotionally, physically and mentally. Children at this child care centre are now playing amongst the trees and shrubs to engage all their senses and intrigue their sense of wonder.
