We are excited to announce our 27th Annual Children’s Walk for Charity in support of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we proudly raised over $8,000 at last year’s event.
Because of the support SickKids receives from this event and community initiatives like it, important advances have been made in child health research, new life-saving medical equipment has been purchased for their clinics and operating rooms, and the young patients continue to benefit from the highest standard of care that science, technology, and compassion can provide.
At York Professional Care & Education, we believe this event reflects our vision and mission by fostering learning environments that embody courtesy, respect, responsibility, confidence, and compassion towards others.
We are asking you to support our efforts and assist your child in raising money by asking friends, relatives, co-workers and neighbours to sponsor your child(ren) in the walk on May 29th, 2026. You may visit our fundraising event portal: YPCE Children’s Walk for Charity 2026, or speak with your child(ren)’s educator to obtain a pledge form for donations made by cash or cheque. All cheques should be made payable to “SickKids Foundation”. Charitable donation receipts will be issued upon request for donations of $20.00 or more.
